Michael Wren is a Director of Bhsl-Hydro which is an Irish Agri-Tech Company that has created and continues to create Innovative Environmental Technologies for water and wastewater treatment. In addition, the Company has developed a unique and patented FBC Process (Fluidised Bed Combustion) that converts a wide range of Organic Wastes to electrical and thermal energy.

Michael joined Bhsl-Hydro having retired from Kerry Group PLC in 2015. He spent 38 years with Kerry starting out in 1978 in the very first factory (Milk Processing in Listowel, County Kerry, Ireland) that the Company built as a Production Manager and in the following years took on more Senior roles in the Ingredient Division as the Company grew both Organically and by Acquisition firstly in Ireland and then Geographically throughout the world. He has a lot of experience in Operations across the whole Food Ingredient Sector and was always investigating new raw materials and processes.

Prior to joining Kerry Group, he spent 2 years in a Research and Development Role with Golden Vale Engineering.

He graduated from University College Cork in 1975 with a First Class Honours Degree in Dairy and Food Science.
