Madhavika (Maddy) Bajoria

Madhavika (Maddy) Bajoria is the Nutrition Integration Manager at Sight and Life, bringing significant experience in multi-sectoral partnerships, program management and advocacy to advance knowledge and implementation in nutrition. She has been driving the organization’s market-shaping work for prenatal multiple micronutrient supplements in South Africa, Bangladesh, Burkina Faso, Tanzania and Madagascar and has also supported the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) to gain multi-stakeholder buy-in for the implementation of large-scale staple food fortification across the country. In her current role, she has led the creation of India’s first ever platform to engage private sector, IMPAct4Nutrition, in the government’s National Nutrition Mission, along with UNICEF, Tata Trusts and other key partners.

Driven by Sight and Life’s commitment to science-based innovation in product development and delivery, she has documented the organization’s work in family food models for Sizanani Mzanzi, a social business in South Africa and the cost-effective continuous blending model for large-scale rice fortification in India. She holds a Master in Public Administration from Columbia University and has previously worked with J-PAL, CARE and the ILO on policy and programmatic assessments in a variety of sectors.
