Ashok Vasudevan is an entrepreneur, academician and philanthropist with an abiding interest in international entrepreneurship, Food & Agriculture and a deep commitment to affordable wellness through nutrition. Ashok is the co-founder of Preferred Brands International, a US-based food company that makes Tasty Bite and a range of other natural, ethnic and speciality foods sold in major supermarkets in North America, Australia, and the UK. Ashok is also Chairman of the Board of Tasty Bite Eatables Ltd, a public Company on the Bombay and the National Stock Exchange (TSTY:IN). Tasty Bite announced the sale of the company to Food major Mars Inc. in 2017. In 2015, along with his wife Meera he set up MAVF – a fully funded family foundation dedicated to ending hunger and malnutrition in the US in a manner that is sustainable, self-reliant and healthy. He recently relocated to Singapore where he co-founded C-SAW, a company, dedicated to the spread of affordable wellness, which will have a think tank & Applied Research Center, a Food & Ag incubator/accelerator and an Advisory practice.

Ashok Vasudevan graduated in Agricultural Sciences from Bangalore and went to business school at the Bajaj Institute of Management, Bombay and the Harvard Business School.
